Do I still need a theme?

Yes. Elementor Pro 2.0 doesn’t replace your theme. It is a plugin that gives you visual design capabilities over every part of the theme. Instead of being restricted to a certain header, footer, single post, archive and other parts of the theme, you can customize every part using Elementor’s visual editor.

How do I edit my header and footer with Elementor Pro 2.0?

First, make sure you are updated to the latest versions of Elementor and Elementor Pro. Then, in the WordPress dashboard, go to Templates > Theme Builder and create a new header/footer template. Note: if your theme isn’t fully compatible with Elementor Pro, you will need to edit both your header as well as your footer. You will not be able to design only one of them.
